Ganesh, Indian Elephants and East Indian prints are making their rounds around the fashion community. From embroidery to screen prints, we are seeing more and more of them come this Fall and Winter 2014.
AN explosion of florals burst forth from the catwalks, as green-fingered designers cultivated a flower-strewn spring/summer.
“This season’s florals encompass the whole range from pastel pretty to techno sport and make an irresistable motif for spring,” says Alexandra Shulman, Vogue editor.
With girly hearts, frivolous stars and even childhood characters like Bambi, designers have certainly made a playful stamp on next season. The youthful trend was contrasted with transparency and patent leather at Burberry Porsum, a grunge charm at Yves Saint Laurent and midnight black at Givenchy.
